KidSight began in 1995 as a pilot program in St. Louis with a simple goal: to identify vision issues in children early and help them succeed in school and beyond.
What started as a local effort has grown into a statewide initiative reaching thousands of children every year. Today, we are nearing a remarkable milestone—1 million children screened.
With fewer than 20,000 children left to reach this goal, every screening brings us closer to a moment 30 years in the making.
